“About Face: Real and Re-Imagined” Continues at The Local NY in LIC Until June 25

Spanning a diverse range of styles, techniques and media, About Face: Real and Re-Imagined brings together more than two dozen artists exploring the human face. Curated by Bonnie Astor and Lois Stavsky, the exhibition continues until June 25 at the Local NY.

Featured above is Guyana-born, self-taught multidisciplinary artist Shayne Bovell posing with three of his ingeniously inventive assemblages fashioned from an eclectic range of upcycled materials.
